TPI Camp
Join Christina February 2026 at Hammock Beach Resort & Spa for her inaugural 3-day TPI Camp. This unique camp is designed to help golfers advance their ball striking from the tee and fairway with a focus on technique, body fitness and power.
Christina is TPI Certified: Golf Level 3, Power Level 2 and Fitness Level 2. She is also certified as a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer. She understands the importance of understandng your body and swing. They work together as pals.
During this 3-day camp, Christina will guide campers through detailed body and swing assessments to identify strengths and weaknesses in the swing and the body. Once the weak links are identified, each camper receives a comprehensive action plan for swing and body. This camp incorporates golf swing technique and fitness. Don't worry! Any fitness level is welcome. Even those that claim, "I am not athletic."

WHAT Is tpi?
TPI is the world's leading educational organization dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing.
Since its inception in 2003, TPI has studied thousands of golfers ranging from the top professional Tour players to weekend enthusiasts. An incredible amount of data on players of all shapes, sizes, ages, and fitness levels has been gathered during this time. Using this data, TPI discovered how a properly functioning body allows a player to swing a golf club in the most efficient way possible. Additionally, TPI has analyzed how physical limitations in a player’s body can adversely affect the golf swing and potentially lead to injury.

TPI’s mission is to educate golfers and industry professionals on the Body-Swing Connection™ through its one of a kind ‘TPI Certified’ educational program. This program was developed by founders Dr. Greg Rose and Dave Phillips along with a 52 member advisory staff of industry leading experts.
Body + Swing connection
TPI does not believe in one way to swing a club, rather in an infinite number of swing styles. But, we do believe there is one efficient way for every player to swing and it is based on what the player can physically do. - TPI Headquarters / Carlsbad CA
The most efficient swing is not the same for every golfer, because efficiency is unique to their body. To achieve an efficient swing, a golfer must first be screened. This screen involves an assessment of swing mechanics and biomechanics, physical fitness, movement quality, current health and a client history.

EQUIPMENT GET FITTED
Getting fitted for your equipment is paramount. If your clubs are not properly fitted for your physical attributes as well as your current skill level, then you will most certainly compensate at some point during the swing. Why work that hard to find a consistent contact point. In addition, ill-fitted equipment will lead to poor technique which in turn, could lead to injury and take you out of the game you love, Instead, Christina's goal is to provide a deep understanding of what your body can and cannot do in her signature fun and engaging camp style. Detailed itinerary outlined further down the page.
MOBILITY & STABILITY
The first step for every golfer is mobility. If your body is stiff and rigid, you risk injury and poor technique. Once we get you mobility, we then go to work to help you stabilize your body in order to generate optimal ground reaction forces (GRFs). If you cannot stabilize due to lack of mobility, communication between your muscles and the ground, your swing will lack power. Instead, Christina will teach you how to get the most GRF based on your physical body and current swing level.

WHAT IS GROUND FORCE REACTION
In a golf swing, significant ground reaction forces (GRFs) are generated, primarily in vertical, lateral, and rotational (torque) axes. These forces are measured using force plates and mats and are often expressed as a percentage of the golfer's body weight or in Newtons (N). In simple tems, it's Newton's Third Law: Newton's Third Law states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. This means that when one object (YOU) exerts a force on a second object (ground), the second object simultaneously exerts a force of equal magnitude and opposite direction on the first The ground is our true power!

Key TPI Insights on Force Generation
  • Vertical force is the largest component: Of the three primary ground reaction forces, the vertical force is by far the largest in magnitude. This is why the vertical jump test is a key performance indicator in TPI's physical profiling.
  • Timing is crucial: Generating a lot of force is important, but applying it at the correct time in the swing (typically earlier in the downswing, around the time the shaft is vertical or lead arm is parallel to the ground) is essential for maximizing clubhead speed and efficiency.
  • Individual variations exist: TPI emphasizes that while averages are helpful, there are unique force profiles for different players. Some golfers might be "superpowers" in vertical force, while others excel in rotational force, and effective instruction tailors training to these individual strengths and physical capabilities.
  • Force transmission (Impulse): Force applied over time creates impulse, which changes momentum. The ability to create a high amount of force and apply it efficiently through the kinetic chain (from the ground to the clubhead) is key to powerful, injury-resistant swings.
Itinerary
5 Days / 4 Nights

DAY 1 - Arrival
Relax, get settled and enjoy the resort.
DAY 2 - ASSESSMENTS
10:00-11:30 - Detailed Body Assessments following the TPI screening protocols. Campers receive this detailed report after camp.
11:30 Break
11:45 - 1:00 - Mobility & Stability Christina will guide campers through a series of targeted exercises to increase range of motion as well as increase stability.
1:00 Lunch
2:00 Tee Off
For the first 9 holes, Christina rotates between groups and continues her assessments on the course including swing videos and overall performance assessments.

DAY 3 - BALL STRIKING
10:00-10:30 - Warm-Up This banner day kicks off with a series of mobility and dynamic warmup designed to prep the body for movement.
10:30 Swing Principles an important step to better ball striking is truly understanding how the golf swing truly works. Many payers have an idea but are not crystal clear. Swing misconceptions are typically at the route of inconsistent contact and direction.
11:30 - 1:00 Individual Computer Analysis
What's really going on with your swing? Christina works with each camper individually first through a detailed swing analysis on the computer. You swing next to a touring pro for reference is highly beneficial to quickly understand the true culprits. From there, Christina shows you with drills and corrective mechanics to improve your ball striking. These drills and key points are delivered via video to each camper after camp to ensure a clear action plan
1:00 Lunch
2:00 - 4:00 Drills & Practice
Christina will provide each camper with personal drills to groove identified swing culprits. Each player will be unique which is why Christina's camps are small in number to provide lots of one-on-one attention. With 12 campers, Christina is joined by Dr Rob Neal who bring his 3D biomechanics system!
4:00 Go Play! Head out on the course and play until dark or head back to the resort and take a stroll on the beach for grounding.
